Tiger Encounters
EXTRA EXTRA! Read All About it!
Baby Tiger "Delhi" will be joining our zoo!
We are scheduling encounters with the new baby for children 4 years old and up!
Limit two people per time slot.(Exceptions will be made for groups of 4 in the same party. We can allow up to six people, if all in the same party, for our "outside*" time slots.)
Here are the new dates and times for baby Delhi.
TUESDAY 7/27/10 (through 8/2/10)
10:30 am, 11:00 am, and 2:00 pm
TUESDAY 8/3/10 (through 9/5/10)
10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 2:00, 2:30, and 3:00
NO ONE UNDER AGE 13 AFTER SUNDAY 9/5/10 (schedule remains the same, but tigers will be too big for children under 13)
Come spend some hands-on time with three Golden Tabby Bengal Tiger Cubs on loan from the Marcan Tiger Preserve. Encounters will begin Sunday.
We are still accepting reservations for Tiger Encounters for ages 13 and up for our older cubs, Khan, Boris, & Kabul.
Current Schedule for Khan, Boris & Kabul: 10:00am, 10:30am, 11:00am, 2:00pm, 2:30pm and 3:00pm (no 11:00am encounters on Monday or Wednesday).
There is a limit of four people per time slot. (Exception - we can allow up to six people, if all in the same party, for our "outside*" time slots.)
The cost is $25 + tax for children ages 4-12** and $50 + tax for adults, PLUS the cost of regular zoo admission and tax. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Please make sure you wear socks and closed-toed shoes on the day of your Tiger Encounter! DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR CAMERA!
*10:00 am and 2:00 pm are outside weather and school group permitting.
**Children's encounters are only available when the cubs are very young. After March 20, we cannot offer encounters for children under the age of 13 - NO EXCEPTIONS. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
