Tiger Encounters
A Snowy Treat for the Summer!
Just arrived from the Marcan Tiger Preserve now have two cuddly Snowy White Bengal Tiger cubs! Tibet, Shiva, and Mohan are ready to cuddle & play with you!
Encounters are available at scheduled times throughout the day. We offer indoor and outdoor encounters for individuals, pairs, and sometimes groups of 4-6 people depending on the age and size of the cubs.
The cost is $25 + tax for children ages 4-12, and $50 + tax for adults, PLUS the cost of regular zoo admission. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
We have added some additional time slots for tiger encounters are currently accepting reservations at the following times: 9:30 am, 10:00 am, 10:30 am, 11:00, 1:30 pm, 2:00 pm, 2:30, and 3:00 pm. We have a limit of 4 people per time slot for these encounters.
PLEASE NOTE: As the cubs are growing quickly, all encounters will be outdoors weather permitting. We reserve ther right to make last minute decisions in order to make the encounters fun, safe, and enjoyable for our guests, our handlers, and our cubs.
After Sunday July 17th, 2011, we cannot take reservations with Tibet, Shiva & Mohan for children under age 13. As you know, these little cubs grow quickly, so for everyone's safety we reserve the right to change this date as necessary.
To ensure a safe and fun encounter please make sure that you wear socks, closed toe shoes, and long pants. (It's HOT here so you may want to bring these with you to change into just before your encounter!)
